The summer I turned pretty retelling

A young girl named Belly always spends her summers at a beach house. Just her, her brother, Conrad and Jerimah, and their mothers. This summer is the summer when every thing changes.While Belly has always had a crush on Conrad, some other boys get thrown into the picture. When she seems to finally get a grip on things, a new wrench is thrown into of their lives, Suzzanah (Conrad and Jeremiah's mom) is diagnoised with breast cancer for the second time. Belly, Jeremiah, and Conrad finally heave the huge burden of love off their chest resulting in a big fight. Somehow they make it through the summer alive and leave with a weight lifted from their shoulders.

What J.K. Rowling is trying to say is that sometimes the right choice isn't always easy. I strongly agree with this quote because it applies a lot on friendship because its easy to just stand and watch, when the right thing to do is standing up to help. I can connect this quote to myself because I sometimes find myself facing that decision. I also find myself in that position. I'm always glad when someone chooses the right way over the easy way.
