"Take your fight
outside. Better yet, into the incinerator. Funerals are unhappy and pagan?
Eliminate them too. Five minutes after a person is dead he's on his way to the
Big Flue, the Incinerator's serviced by helicopters all over the country. Ten
minutes after death a man's a speck of black dust. Let's not quibble over
individuals with memoriums. Forget them. Burn all, burn everything. Fire is
bright and fire is clean."
This was meaningful
because it really shows the plot of the book. The last line shows that they
believe burning things, will solve all of there problems, because fire is
clean.
Your quote choice was very good. It sums up the whole boring book. You could've added a little more detail to your analysis. Good job!!!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Emily this is a very boring book but that quote really sums up the whole book. I thought you did really good on your analysis for this quote.
ReplyDeleteThat was a very thoughtful way to think of the quote. But, I think that you could have added a little more. Nice job!!!
